Yes, We're Real People!!!

While meeting with a prospective bride and her family this weekend, she mentioned that her mother would wake up worrying about her wedding. On one such occasion she asked "What if Rev. Don isn't a real person?" We all laughed, but it wasn't the first time that I've heard that sentiment expressed.

As someone who deals with people mostly via the internet, I appreciate the fact that someone might be skeptical dealing with someone they've never met. In fact, often, the first time I meet some of my couples is when I arrive to perform their ceremony. This may seem a bit unconventional to some, but has become my normal way of doing my job. I understand that you want your wedding to be perfect. It's just that in my particular position, I get a lot of last-minute bookings, some of them within hours, so I try to keep my time available for actual ceremonies.

My wife, Samantha, (mostly her) and I have tried to make our website the most user-friendly, informative and up-to-date there is on getting married in New Orleans. As you can see, we both love this city, and want to share it's treasures with the world. We feel that our chosen home town is the most romantic, exciting, entertaining and interesting place anyone could want for their wedding. We are members of the New Orleans Convention and Visitors Bureau, and can honor any requests for references you might have.

So, come on down to New Orleans, pass a good time and enjoy the wedding experience of a lifetime!!!
